The Paris Connection by Cerella Sechrist: Adult Review and Blog Tour

Bonjour Paris text with tower eiffel and bicycle. Romantic postc

I am happy to be in The Paris Connection blog tour today hosted by Amber Stokes with Seasons of Humility. Blog Tour Home

The Paris Connection by Cerella Sechrist. March 2014. Harlequin Heartwarming. Goodreads.

Sparks are flying in the City of Light

Emma Brooks, single mom and managing director at the leading recruiting firm in Paris, was against their merger with an American company from the start. Not only was her firm losing its autonomy, she was losing her well-deserved promotion to Cole Dorset—a handsome, arrogant interloper from New York!

How did Cole’s ex-girlfriend’s dream of moving to Paris become his nightmare? Now he’s got to find his way in a new country, and the woman showing him the ropes wants to string him up by one. But as he gets to know Emma and her daughter, he realizes Paris may have more to offer than he thought….

This was such a pleasant read. I have never been to Paris, but now I must go!

It’s so fun when the two main characters hate each other from the start. It always makes me laugh. Cole and Emma did not get off to a good start, but things get better. I mean, look at the cover! No seriously look at it. 😀 Cole was seriously charming and Emma was strong and likable. I really enjoyed this book!

I recommend The Paris Connection to contemporary romance lovers and Paris lovers. You’ll enjoy it! Check out the rest of the stops on the tour. Blog Tour Home

      1. Thanks, Cerella! I’m very much looking forward to reading it – and in all likelihood will once the print version releases later this month. 🙂

          1. Amber is right, Rissi! It’s available now in paperback on Harlequin’s website. I believe, for now, the Heartwarming line only releases digitally through other websites, but you can always get them in paperback through Harlequin. 🙂

            1. Rissi, I apologize for the confusion on this too – we noticed a March 21 release date on Amazon that is apparently for the UK version since the US copies were available on March 1. So sorry about that! I know the publisher is working to straighten that out!

  1. So wonderful to see The Paris Connection featured on your lovely, updated blog! Cerella writes such sweet stories. 🙂 You should check out the prequel, Gentle Persuasion, and her debut, Love Finds You in Hershey, if you get a chance! I’m sure you’d enjoy them both. 🙂

    1. Thanks for adding it to your GoodReads pile, Cami! Make sure we’re friends on GoodReads, as well! 🙂 Since writing the story, I have a whole new appreciation for all things French.

And Kathryn, I’ve not been out of the U.S. too much, but I love books set in Europe – especially historicals!
