MY REVIEW: 5 STARS!
A contemporary clean romance with little adorable twins and a firefighter daddy?! Win, Win in my book. 😉
I love how Love Inspired books are short but deep reads. This story kept up the pace the way I like it, not too slow, not too fast. Shay and Natalie are the main characters that switch telling the story. I enjoy learning more personal things about the characters before they share it out loud with others. I understood more about the characters personality as their past and present experiences were told.
Natalie is fun, creative, and has been through the loss of a loved one. She doesn’t know if she can handle the risk of having feelings for someone again that she might lose. Shay has gone through a diverse and is responsible for raising 2 year old twin boys. This story is true in telling how young boys act. Believe me. I know. Their mixture of behaviors remind me of my boys at that age.
Heidi McCahan shows us the ups and downs of finding romance in real life situations, not fairy tales. I love the characters and the precious Christian romance! ❤

Heidi McCahan is the author of Covering Home, Unraveled, and Love Flies In. She is also an active RWA member and currently serves as secretary of the North Carolina chapter of ACFW. Heidi won the 2014 Idahope contest, and was a 2015 finalist in Harlequin’s Blurb 2 Book contest. A Pacific Northwest girl at heart, she was transplanted in the South several years ago, and currently lives in North Carolina with her husband and three boys. Heidi is a huge fan of coffee, dark chocolate, and happily ever after, and can often be found enjoying a good cup of coffee and a great book.
