Day 1: Catchy First Sentence#alices15daysofwonder

“As I read this boy’s fact sheet, I was already mentally pulling together an outfit from my closet.”
Shannen Crane Camp is the author of MANY great YA reads! Reading this first line to The Breakup Artist makes me smile and want to read it again!

Have you read any of Shannen’s books? Which are your favorite?

Day 6: Wardrobe Goals #alices15daysofwonder

I would love to go all dressed up to an 1800s dance. I have read and loved all 6 of Jane Austen’s books! Persuasion is my favorite! I didn’t have a cover of it with a dress so Sense and Sensibility is pictured.

Have you read any books by Jane Austen? Which is your favorite? Read them ALL! Sense and Sensibility. Pride and Prejudice. Mansfield Park. Emma. Persuasion. Northanger Abbey.

Do you like to read retellings of Jane Austen’s books and/or retellings of fantasies like Cinderella? I LOVE retellings! I find it interesting and entertaining to see your characters go through stuff in a different way.

These are Jane Austen retellings and so fun to read! Have you read any? I’ve read all of Jane Austen’s books so I knew that Emma wasn’t my favorite, but I LOVED this retelling! It surprised me that I loved it. Emmalee by Jenni James is happy making! 😙
Northanger Alibi by Jenni James
Persuaded by Jenni James
Pride & Popularity by Jenni James

June 16: Ditch That Jacket #sammyreadsjune16
Four: a Divergent Collection by Veronica Roth is a great book to see with its jacket off. I loved reading Four’s small stories. Who is your favorite Divergent character? Mine is Four. I want to show bravery through fears. Four and I are both scared of heights and claustrophobic. I don’t like 🎡 Ferris Wheels! 🎡 They are so SLOW which makes me feel claustrophobic AND scared of heights! 😂

June 18: Book and Nature #sammyreadsjune16
I love books, photos, and Texas country life. I’ve started reading and loving The Unlikely Gift of Treasure Blume by Lisa Rumsey Harris. I’ve met Lisa! She’s sweet and fun! 🌸

June 24: Favourite Quote #sammyreadsjune16

~”But you’re a prisoner,” said Thorne.
“I prefer damsel in distress,” she murmured.~ Cress by Marissa Meyer

Cress is my favorite in The Lunar Chronicles! She makes me laugh with her Thorne crush feelings.
