book signing, Michelle Madow, remembrance, vengeance

Book Signing: Michelle Madow

I had the opportunity to meet Michelle Madow today and get my copy of Remembrance signed! Michelle is the author of Remembrance and Vengeance. She’s the first author I’ve met. I’ve tried to go to book signings in the past, but with 3 little boys and a husband to take care of it just hasn’t worked out. Plus I never seemed to hear about signings until last minute. Here’s a website I found recently that lists upcoming book signings.

Michelle is so cute and fun. It was so great to finally meet her. She is inspiring! Talking to high school students and inspiring them to write must be one of the most rewarding parts of being a Young Adult author.

I can’t believe how huge the online community is for Young Adult bloggers, authors, and readers. I never could have guessed I’d meet so many awesome people when I started my blog 10 months ago. I hope to meet more of you authors/bloggers/readers face to face.

Release Date:
Series: Transcend Time #2
4 STARS: I Really Liked It

When Chelsea Givens discovered that her ex-boyfriend Drew dumped her to be with her former best friend Lizzie, she’d never felt so betrayed in her life. Then her new friend Shannon tells her she can help set things right. Chelsea’s willing to listen, but what Shannon wants her to believe — that she shared a past life with Drew — is impossible. And what she wants her to do to get him back … well, it’s downright crazy.
Could Shannon be telling the truth? And if she is, what lengths will Chelsea go if it means making Lizzie pay?
Find out in Vengeance, the second part of the Transcend Time Saga.
*Vengeance is the short story that bridges the events in Remembrance and the final novel in the Saga.

My Thoughts:
I liked that this book was short. It felt like a sneak peak into the third and final book of the saga. It was Lizzie’s story in the first book, and this book gave us her ex-best friend Chelsea’s perspective. I was pretty frustrated with Chelsea’s reaction at the end of Remembrance, but this book helped me understand where she was coming from. Chelsea had conflicting emotions throughout Vengeance. My heart ached for Chelsea and the misunderstandings going on between her and Lizzie. A boy is no reason to throw away a longtime friendship! I’m really curious to see how things play out in book three.

If you’ve read Remembrance you need to read this book. If you haven’t read Remembrance. . . you’re missing out! Go read it right now! You’ll love it.

Happy Reading!
