Book Signing: Michelle Madow

I had the opportunity to meet Michelle Madow today and get my copy of Remembrance signed! Michelle is the author of Remembrance and Vengeance. She’s the first author I’ve met. I’ve tried to go to book signings in the past, but with 3 little boys and a husband to take care of it just hasn’t worked out. Plus I never seemed to hear about signings until last minute. Here’s a website I found recently that lists upcoming book signings. http://www.findbooksignings.com/

Michelle is so cute and fun. It was so great to finally meet her. She is inspiring! Talking to high school students and inspiring them to write must be one of the most rewarding parts of being a Young Adult author.

I can’t believe how huge the online community is for Young Adult bloggers, authors, and readers. I never could have guessed I’d meet so many awesome people when I started my blog 10 months ago. I hope to meet more of you authors/bloggers/readers face to face.

  1. Thank you. I just checked it out and it looks like I will not be reading this one. It's a shame-it sounded good- but I would rather be stopped now then have to stop in the middle.

  2. Remembrance is actually on sale for $1 on Amazon for the eBook. That's cheaper than the gas it would take to get to the library. 🙂

Thanks for requesting a book review! There is an awesome site that reviews the content whether clean or not. Parental Book Reviews I use their site to check the content of books all the time! Switched has heavy language so I won't be reviewing it on my blog.

  3. That is so cool. I love getting the chance to meet authors. So far, I have met Margaret Peterson Haddix, Julie Berry, Rick Riordan, and Bryan Davis. Remebrance looks so good, but I can't find it at my library 😦

BTW, could you review Switched by Amanda Hocking. It looks really interesting, but I don't want it to turn out bad.
